consumer video and audio transfer products
and other consumer technology products.

Retail Package Products

WHO IS COVERED:

  • VIDBOX warrants the product to the original purchaser or the person receiving the product as a gift against defects in materials and workmanship as based on the date of original purchase (“Warranty Period”) from an Authorized Retailer.
  • The original sales receipt showing the product name and the purchase date from an authorized retailer is considered such proof.

WHAT IS COVERED:

This warranty is valid in the United States or in countries where the Product was sold by authorized retail and distribution partners. VIDBOX Inc. warrants this Product against defects in material or workmanship. VIDBOX warranty obligation is limited to the terms set forth below for VIDBOX software products.

  1. For a period of 1 year from the date of original purchase, if the software installation disc is determined to be defective, VIDBOX will replace the software installation disc with a new disc or download option, at no charge.
  2. In addition, users can receive FREE phone & email support with product registration for one full year from the date of original purchase.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED - EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS:

  • Damage or claims for products not being available for use, or for lost data or lost software.
  • A product that requires modification or adaptation to enable it to operate in any country other than the country for which it was designed, manufactured, approved and/or authorized, or repair of products damaged by these modifications.
  • A product used for commercial or institutional purposes (including but not limited to rental purposes).
  • Product lost in shipment and no signature verification receipt can be provided.
  • Failure to operate per User Guide.
  • Changes or updates to the operating system beyond what was supported at the time of purchase.

Replacement as provided under this warranty is the exclusive remedy of this consumer. VIDBOX shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages for breach of any expressed or implied warranty on the product. Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose on the product is limited to the duration of the warranty.

Some states do not allow the exclusions or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have other rights which vary from state/province to state/province.

Retail Package Product Return Policy

All returns require an RMA (return merchandize authorization) and are considered on a case-by-case basis only. Users must contact customer support team before being considered for a refund. UNOPENED products that were purchased from our e-store (www.vidbox.company) can be returned within 30 days of receipt. Additionally, there will be a restocking fee of $10 on all returns for refund. All shipping fees are NON-REFUNDABLE and return shipping is not covered by VIDBOX. We may waive the restocking fee if the product is found to be defective.


This Limited Software Warranty does not cover:

  • Shipping charges to return defective product to VIDBOX
  • Damage or claims for products not being available for use, or for lost data or lost software.

ELECTRONIC SOFTWARE DOWNLOAD PRODUCTS ARE SUBJECT TO THE DIGITAL SATISFACTION GUARANTEE.

Trial Software

Trial software for eligible products can be downloaded and evaluated by users for free during the trial period. The trial period is defined by each eligible product. Trial software is not eligible for any warranty and support. VIDBOX is not liable for any issues that may arise as a result of using trial software. At any point during the trial period or after the trial period expiration, users may purchase a software license key that can be used to convert the trial software to an Electronic Software Download Product.

Electronic Software Download Products

Electronic Software Download (ESD) products are purchased through the VIDBOX e-store and fulfilled digitally to the email address provided at the time of purchase. Customers must provide a valid email address for delivery of digital products.

Customers have the responsibility of ensuring that they receive their software license key in a timely manner, allowing them to test the software adequately. If you encounter any issues with obtaining or using the license key, please reach out to our customer support team for assistance. Our team is dedicated to helping you resolve any problems that you might face, and we will work with you to ensure a smooth and satisfying experience with our software.


LIMITATIONS:

  • The Electronic Software Download license cannot be transferred to another user once it has been used to activate the software.

DIGITAL SATISFACTION GUARANTEE:

Product purchased as an electronic software download through the VIDBOX website are under a satisfaction guarantee for 7 calendar days from the date of purchase. Users may contact the customer support team during this time to receive customer support. After this 7 day period, electronic software downloads are ineligible for refund.

To initiate the refund request, Users must provide sufficient identifying information for the transaction. This may include the below:

  1. Order Number
  2. First and Last Name of the purchaser
  3. Email address of the purchaser
  4. Product Name
  5. Date of purchase

Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment.
